Columbus, Ohio (AP) — Republican Vivek Ramaswamy is setting out to launch his 2026 bid for Ohio governor on Feb. 24 in his native Cincinnati. The donations were already announced in just five days across the region, beginning with election events in Ohio City, Toledo, and Cleveland. Ramaswamy, a 39-year-old biotech entrepreneur and former presidential candidate who left last month’s Donald Trump-backed government efficiency initiative, has already secured widespread endorsements.
